Wir sitzen weiterhin in der Frankfurter Filiale der schottischen Brauerei BrewDog und probieren nun das letzte noch nicht getestete Fassbier. Dabei handelt es sich um das "BrewDog Ellon Double Punk", ein 8,2%iges IIPA. 60 Bittereinheiten soll das gute Stück haben, dessen erster Schluck fruchtig daher kommt. Ein bisschen Grapefruit ist zu schmecken, dazu kommen viele süße Früchte. Orangen kann ich schmecken, dazu eine leichte Note von Mango und etwas Maracuja. Schön kalt ist es, die Kohlensäure ist hier auch mal richtig gut dosiert. Sehr umgänglich ist dieses Starkbier, dessen Alkohol super eingearbeitet wurde. Wirklich ein sehr leckeres, schön fruchtiges Bier. Es bleibt aber im bekannten Terrain, was hier aber absolut in Ordnung ist. Alles in allem: Acht Punkte!
