Fazit:
Ein weiteres Pale Ale aus Schottland möchte heute Nachmittag getestet werden. Das "BrewDog Ellon Hop Fiction" hat entspannte 4,2vol.% Alkohol und das Dosendesign ist auch ansprechend. Ich hoffe, das trifft auch auf das eingeschenkte Bier zu. Und das macht es. Das Goldgelb ist stumpf, der Schaum steht ganz gut darüber und zu riechen gibt es eine Menge Grapefruit. Geschmacklich kommt als erste eine zünftige Fruchtsäure durch, die an Orangen- und Grapefruitschale erinnert. Würzig ist es, der Hopfen sorgt für eine dezente Bittere und eine leichte Kratzigkeit. Es hat einen relativ dünnen Körper. Dadurch fehlt da etwas an Komplexität und außer der Säure zu Beginn passiert dann auch nicht mehr viel. Der Antrunk ist gut, dann passiert aber nicht mehr viel. Das "BrewDog Ellon Hop Fiction" ist ein ganz gutes Pale Ale...
