Fazit:
Und weiter geht es mit dem BrewDog-Adventskalender. Heute habe ich das "BrewDog Ellon Silk Road" herausgekramt, ein 6,5%iges Lychee & Mango Hazy IPA. Das Dosendesign gefällt mir ganz gut, das eingeschenkte Bier macht auch eine ordentliche Figur. Vor allem aber ist der Duft interessant. Eine satte Menge Mango ist zu riechen, die Lychee lässt auch erahnen. Noch krasser ist der erste Schluck. Eine deutliche Lycheenote ist vorhanden, dann kommt die Mango durch, die ab der Mitte noch intensiver schmeckt. Ein schöner Körper wird geboten, süßlich schmeckt das Bier, das später auch beim Hopfen und den würzigen Aromen zulegt. Ein neuer Schluck und es schmeckt parfümiert. Dieser Eindruck ist aber nur kurz vorhanden, dann wird die Mango wieder deutlicher. Nach hinten raus lässt das Bier eine feine Bittere durchschimmern. Ein langer Abgang rundet dieses interessante Bier ab. Es schmeckt gut, nur dann leider doch etwas künstlich. Unterm Strich: Gut!
