Aus Schottland stammt das Citrus Session IPA, welches auf den Namen "BrewDog Clockwork Tangerine" hört und einen Alkoholgehalt von 4,5%vol. hat. Gebraut wurde es mit echten Mandarinenschalen. Spannend... Optisch ist das Bier sehr ansprechend: Bernsteinfarbig ist es, dazu gibt es viel festen Schaum. Und eben einen erwarteten deutlichen Mandarinengeruch. Schon irgendwie krass, wie dominant dieser ist. Der erste Schluck ist trocken und auch hier kommen viele Mandarinenaromen durch. In der ersten Sekunde ist das Bier süßlich und relativ leicht. Ab der Mitte wird der Hopfen deutlicher, das Session wird würzig und bitter. Dabei bleibt es aber sehr fruchtig und im letzten Drittel ist das Brewdog sehr bitter. Vor allem schmeckt es nach mehr als nur 4,5%vol. Alkohol. Der sehr lange Abgang lässt mich zum Fazit kommen: Sehr gut! Acht Punkte!
