Fazit:
Aus Ellon in Schottland stammt das "BrewDog Butterfly Effect". Dieses IPA hat einen Alkoholgehalt von 6% und es wurde mit Hopfen aus Neuseeland gebraut. Das hört sich gut an und nun bin ich gespannt, wie es schmeckt. Ich nehme den ersten Schluck zu mir und... Ui! Hier ist viel los. Eine Menge Kohlensäure ist am Start, es ist sofort fruchtig und ich kann Kiwi und Pinie schmecken. Auch kommen etwas Ananas und Kamille durch. Honig ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Beim nächsten Schluck wird dieses Bier würziger, subtil ist es auch kratzig. Ich muss schon sagen, dass es etwas chaotisch bei den Aromen ist. Ich nehme noch einen Zug zu mir und das Bier bleibt würzig und leicht bitter, im Hintergrund kommen angenehm dosierte (Stein-)Früchte durch. Der lange Abgang rundet das gute IPA ab.
