Mitten im Herzen von Malmö, im BrewDog, steht heute endlich ein Debüt für uns an: das schottische "BrewDog Grind", ein 6%iges Stout, das man getrost als Bier gewordenen Kaffee bezeichnen kann. Die Vorfreude ist groß! Tiefschwarz präsentiert es sich im Glas, und schon der Duft verspricht eine süße Verführung aus Karamell und Vanille. Der erste Schluck? Ein Ausrufezeichen! Satte Karamellnoten umhüllen den Gaumen, begleitet von einer üppigen Schokoladigkeit und einer cremigen Vanille. Die Süße erinnert an einen intensiv-aromatischen Milchkaffee! Schon nach wenigen Schlücken ist klar: Dieses Stout spielt in der Oberliga. Die 6% Alkohol verstecken sich gekonnt. Ein weiterer Schluck offenbart eine wunderbare, anhaltende Karamellnote. Der Abgang ist bemerkenswert lang, samtweich und einfach köstlich. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Im Finish fehlt es ihm etwas an Körper. Aber insgesamt ein grandioses Stout!
